This 1967 Chevrolet Corvette is a special vehicle.
We are sure you have heard the expression, It is only original once.
Only when in the presence of a car like this does that expression make so much sense.
Purchased by the second owner in 1971, he saw an ad in a magazine for a used Corvette in Florida.
He went to Florida and drove the car home to Indiana.
It was then driven sparingly on fair weather days only.
The car was purchased by the third owner (an acquaintance of the second owner) one year ago and we have just recently acquired the vehicle.
This is the first time this car has been available for sale to the public since 1971!!! Several years ago, due to lack of driving, the second owner replaced the fuel tank.
On the original fuel tank was the ORIGINAL TANK STICKER in very well preserved condition.
The original tank with sticker attached was set aside and kept preserved.
The exterior is still the original lacquer paint.
The paint appears to be original to the car.
Goodwood Green was the most popular color for the 1967 Corvette and this car wears it great.
The white stinger sets off the look.
The paint has some minor checking which is to be expected.
The original interior shows well.
The carpet does show some color fading.
The side pipes were added by the second owner many years ago.
Original trim tag, Original vin tag, Original 427/400 big block engine, original 4 speed transmission, original Tri-Power, original tank sticker.
All unmolested and untouched.
