Job Summary
The Site Safety Coordinator is responsible for assisting in the maintenance, development, and implementation of the facility's EHS programs to prevent injuries and ensure compliance with all pertinent OSHA regulations, applicable local, state, and federal regulations through daily interaction with managers, supervisors and employees of diverse backgrounds.
Essential Job Functions
Coordinate various monthly Safety Committee meetings and document meeting minutes
Must be able to assess risks, including implementing job safety analyses, and develop appropriate risk management programs.
Lead efforts to drive the safety and environmental culture across the facility
Develop contingency plans, including the Emergency Response Programs
Develop Standard Operating Procedures on equipment
Develop, coordinate and conduct employee safety training.
Conduct new hire safety orientation
Maintain the industrial hygiene sampling program
Lead and manage the accident/incident investigation process, ensure root cause identification and coordinate corrective actions
Maintain OSHA Injury log and any other reporting involved on a Monthly, Quarterly, or Annual basis pertaining to Environmental or Safety
Conduct health and safety audits and develop corrective action plans
Conduct evacuation drills as required in addition to supporting emergency contingency plans
Maintain and update facility EHS permits
Provide updates regarding Safety and Environmental to all levels of the Plant via written or verbal communication
Perform other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent, plus five years of related experience.
Three years of supervisory or administrative experience.
Ability to write in order to develop and implement procedures and policies.
Apply principles of logical thinking to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusion.
PC skills in spreadsheets and word processing.
Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety systems
Working knowledge of NFPA and ANSI standards
Good knowledge of lockout/tag out, confined space entry, welding/cutting, cranes, chains and slings, powered industrial trucks and machine guarding
Hazard Communication, Hand Tools, Compresses Gases, and Emergency Procedures
Must be able to take the initiative to exercise reason, discretion and independent judgment when interacting with various individuals and situations, including outside medical providers and Workers' Compensation representatives regarding existing and future injury cases.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
