OHC / Electrical Technician needed in Over Head Crane department for client in the metals industry near Fort Wayne, IN. You will perform preventative and predictive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and continuous improvement of 35 Overhead Cranes, 40 Jib/Monorail hoists, and all plant below the hook devices. Should have a strong electrical knowledge of PLC's, HMI's, VFD's and 480 voltage. Dat Shift Role.
Responsibilities for the Electrician
Responsible for safe installation, commissioning, and startup of new overhead cranes, hoists, and below the hook devices
Perform electrical maintenace, repair, and installation of over head cranes
Perform mechanical troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of over head cranes
Requirements for the Electrician
2 or 4 year technical degree or equivalent experience level
Open to recent graduates or entry level candidates with strong aptitude to learn
Sound knowledge of OHC Maintenance
