Wayne Combustion Systems is looking for individuals to work as part of a team or as an individual responsible for assembling an entire product or component of a product.
Our team is looking to add indivudals who can perform all tasks conducted by the team in the assembly process, and rotate through all or most tasks in an area rather than being assigned to a specific task on a permanent basis.
Job Duties:
Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit, ensure all parts are fitted and properly tightened, connected or attached Resolves assembly problems as needed Assemble product to blueprint specifications Review work orders and blueprints to ensure work is performed according to specifications Report discrepancies between blueprints and work orders to group leader or applicable member of management Continuously monitor quality of products coming to and leaving from assembly station Rotate through all or most tasks in a particular production area Assist in maintaining production equipment and 5S Notify group leader or applicable member of management if a potential part shortage is detected Maintain a clean and safe work environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations Documents actions by completing production paperwork Contributes to a team effort by accomplishing tasks given to them Performs other duties as required Job Skills and
Qualifications:
Able to understand and learn the connection of multiple subassemblies and products Ability to use basic hand tools and gauges in assembling products Must be able to read blueprints and isometric drawings Dependable work history including regular attendance Works with little guidance or direction Must be detail and quality oriented to detect and report potential quality issues (visual and functional) during the assembly process Able to read/write and speak English to understand verbal and written instructions and document completion of necessary documentation Work in a safety minded manner High School Diploma or GED preferred Physical Abilities/Working Conditions:
Normal work week is 40 hours; 7am to 3:
30pm Monday thru Friday Overtime may be required, when necessary Regularly lift and/or move products that weigh up to 40 pounds Must be able to stand, walk, stoop, bend for period of time during an 8 hour shift Job will consist of some bending and twisting Job Type:
