We're growing! Maple Heights Behavioral Health is a 120 bed facilitiy that opened in January of 2023.
We are seeking a Patient Account Representative/Medical Biller.
The ideal candidate wiill have three or more years admission and/or collections experience in a hospital setting.
Psychiatric experience preferred.
Responsibilities:
Call and status outstanding claims with third party payors.
Review claims issues and make corrections as needed and rebill.
Utilize claims clearing house to review and correct claims.
Resubmit electronically when available.
Request and process all bills to third party payors and patients, maximizing re-imbursement of services provided to achieve established hospital goals.
Responsible for accurate and timely dta entry of charges, payments, adjustments and other transactions.
Responsible for timely follow-up to insurance companies on billing submitted in order to allow for an effective and efficient cash flow of hospital receivables.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Three or more years' prior admissions and or collections experience in a hospital setting required.
Psychiatric experience preferred.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
