Qualifications:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Must be available for 2nd Shift At least 1 year of experience in some sort of lead or supervisory role, preferably in a manufacturing environment Familiarity with machine operations and mechanical skills for effective troubleshooting Able to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to read blueprinting and parts inspection Ability to read and interpret work instructions, quality alerts, and manufacturing processes Good communication and collaboration skills Strong problem-solving skills and time management ability
Responsibilities:
The primary goals are promoting a culture of continuous improvement, properly utilizing personnel to assure efficient workflow, and meeting customer commitments Enforces company policies and guidelines This is a working shift lead position, helping with material handling, shipping and receiving, press operations, and quality Review all jobs prior to shift start-up to ensure proper labor, equipment and material requirements as well as for the preceding shift This position will be responsible for leading a diverse and talented manufacturing team Ability to influence others and demonstrate a consistent, enthusiastic approach towards associates, co-workers and support staff Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times Ensure all required PPE is properly utilized Safety Glasses Hearing Protection Protective gloves Ensure Safety Incident Reports are completed when there is an injury Coordinate safety improvement projects and actively participate in continuous improvement activities Ability to safely and efficiently perform all production work in your respective area of responsibility Conduct daily pre-shift meetings; provide meaningful & relevant information:
Production associate assignments Safety Alerts Quality Alerts Lead through Coaching & Mentoring Identify and label any suspect or defective parts or components and assure timely disposition of product Communicate all quality and/or process changes to associates and provide training as required Provide clear & detailed communication to your shift associates and at shift changes.
Assist with performance reviews regarding safety, quality, efficiency, cooperation and accountability Create and/or assist with work instructions for new and existing processes and maintain their accuracy Performs other duties as directed by the supervisor or designee Job Type:

40 - 50 per week
