Primary
Responsibilities:
Responsible for stuffing and straighten finished products by machine or by hand at a 100% rate.
Stuffer/straightener is responsible for knowing and ensuring the quality of his/her production.
Perform duties with attention to detail.
Remain productive in down-time or support work.
Responsible for housekeeping in work area.
Ability to work individually and in a group.
Complete necessary production sheets correctly.
Report any process concerns to Production Supervisor.
Ability to cross train and take on other positions within the department when needed.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Required Skills:
Ability to handle a heavy workflow with deadlines.
Ability and flexibility to perform assigned tasks in a timely manner.
Ability to stand/walk/bend/stoop/twist up to 3 hours at a stretch.
Basic counting and math skills.
Ability to learn and understand the quality level involved in the department's day to day tasks.
Ability to lift to +40 lbs.
