This position handles customer queries for new orders/status updates via phone and counter sales.
Additional duties include order entry and clerical support for postings & accounts receivable.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Handles phone calls from customers in a professional and business-like manner.
Price and write up orders as requested by customers via EMAIL, phone and counter sales.
Handles inquiries regarding delivery & job status Assists in postings of invoices, cash, bills and filing of corresponding paperwork Assists others during peak workloads and absences.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
In addition you will need to develop an understanding of decoration processes (Screen Print, Embroidery, Heat Transfers, Promotional Items) and apparel varieties.
While it is not required to be knowledgeable on decoration and apparel to apply it is required to learn to these items to be successful at the position.
EDUCATION and/or
Experience:
High School Diploma or general education degree (GED); or six to twelve months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:
Good PC skills are necessary.
Experience with Quickbooks or similar accounting software is a plus.
Organizational skills and effective communication skills are also a necessary.
It is critical to be attentive to detail while dealing with customers on an oral and written level.
Must be able to effectively resolve customer problems.

DKM Embroidery is a screen print and embroidery decorator servicing a nationwide client base.
We work with clients to help them realize their ideas as embellishments on apparel.
Individual orders, team orders, corporate uniforms, events and camps no job is too small or large for us to assist with.
All apparel items are decorated in our facility while we also support sourcing for promotional items and custom overseas sourcing for special projects.
