employees.
The position reports to the CEO and will have one generalist reporting to them.
The Vice President of Human Resources (HR) provides executive-level leadership and guidance to the organization's HR operations.
They will be responsible for setting, enforcing, and evaluating legally compliant human resources policies, procedures, and best practices, and identifying and implementing long-range strategic talent management goals.
They will have responsibility for interviewing, hiring, and training management-level staff, overseeing the daily workflow of the department and providing constructive and timely performance evaluations, and handling discipline and termination of employees per company policy.
They will collaborate with executive leadership to define the organization's long-term mission and goals.
They will research, develop and implement competitive compensation, benefits, performance appraisal, and employee incentive programs.
They will ensure compliance with employment, benefits, insurance, safety, and other laws, regulations, and requirements.
The VP of HR will maintain knowledge of laws, regulations, and best practices in employment law, human resources, and talent management.
They will draft and implement the organization's staffing budget and the budget for the human resource department.
Qualifications:
The VP of HR must have strong communication skills, strong team-building skills, and experience with a broad range of human resource areas including compensation, benefits, incentive plans, recruiting, training, and OSHA requirements in multiple states.
The CEO also prefers someone with multi-location HR management experience.
$80-120k base salary
20% bonus.
