Daily job responsibilities/functions to include, but not limited to:
Recruiting, Onboarding, and Training of employees Timekeeping and Bi-Weekly payroll input and processing Maintaining all associate files Responding to outside agencies for requested information regarding wage garnishments, public assistance, employment verification, unemployment claims, etc.
Assisting supervisors with employee evaluation requirements Maintaining employee handbook Completing requirements for reporting work injuries Compensation and benefit administration including company health insurance, 401K, and vacations Implementing and enforcing company policy regarding work rules Track associate compliance to medical requirements pursuant to our janitorial medical accounts Conduct safety meetings and maintain SDS manuals KNOWLEDGE, SKLLS, AND ABILITIES OF HUMAN RESOURCE SPECIALIST:
Good communication and interpersonal skills Strong leadership ability Ability to function independently and with team members effectively Ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively Ability to stay current on employment requirements and regulations Ability to maintain confidentiality QUALIFICATIONS OF HUMAN RESOURCE SPECIALIST:
Acceptable Criminal Background Check Previous Human Resource experience required Experience with ADP Workforce Now Preferred Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Job Types:
