As our Human Resources Generalist, you take pride in ensuring smooth and efficient operations of human resource daily functions, including on boarding of new team members, tracking of required documentation, and assistance with benefit enrollment, unemployment claims, employee questions and concerns.
You are an integral member of the team and trusted to drive performance and continuous improvement of the core values of the organization.
You will play a key role in supporting our culture of continuous improvement, professionalism, quality, and excellent customer service.
What You Will Do:
Work closely with the Director of Human Resources to support all related functions for the organization.
Maintain records and files in accordance with state and federal laws.
Assist with hiring process, including on boarding of new employees, gathering documentation, training, benefit information, etc.
Assist with recruiting practices and retention initiatives, employee recognition programs.
Promote excellent customer service through all levels of the organization.
Develop, implement, and maintain office policies and procedures.
Assist in the performance management process, including addressing disciplinary issues and developing performance improvement plans when needed.
Maintain data and assist with best practice utilization of technological systems for the organization.
Coordinate administrative tasks as needed.
Coordinate logistics for internal and external meetings and conferences.
Assist in special projects such as recruiting clinicians, facilities management and third-party relationships.
Other duties as assigned.
What You Need:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred, with a minimum of 3 to 5 years of work experience in human resources and preferred 1-2 years in a medical setting.
Knowledge and experience with Human Resource skills and competencies.
Knowledge of HIPAA, OSHA, federal and state labor laws.
Ability to establish and maintain positive, caring relationships with physicians, managers, non-physician providers, ancillary and support staff, other departments, and patients/families.
Knowledge of continuous process improvement concepts and practices.
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
Team orientation and collaborative work style.
Demonstrated technological skills and computer experience with MS Office Suite.
Ability to work productively and effectively within a complex environment and handle multiple/changing priorities.
Skilled professional judgment with critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving abilities required as related to various aspects of healthcare administration.
Mobility and visual manual dexterity.
Physical stamina for frequent walking, standing, and lifting.
