Web Development Director

) This long term client offers this role in-office; this is not a remote or hybrid role; this is a people facing/team role and they want you to come in to work daily. Individual will plan and manage the activities and projects that support the company's web development services, work with functional teams (marketing, product and editorial), to develop best possible web pages, maintain high standards of quality and performance, refine and enforce development standards and processes, coordinate and manage projects, etc. Will have up to 10 direct reports:
web technicians and developers, both jr. and sr.; project manager and systems administrators. You will bring:
Bachelors degree in Software Development, Computer Science or related Minimum of 8 years of web development experience Minimum of 4 years of managerial experience Demonstrated knowledge of programming languages and the initiative to explore new technology and apply knowledge to all efforts Strong knowledge of the modern web environment, including HTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL, Javascript, JQuery, Ajax and all aspects of development in a LAMP as well as the management of hosting infrastructure.
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
relocation offered if needed
